Its a difficult time for any family, you know what to do though, you stick together and you give back to your parents what they have given to you. You never know and God forbit but maybe one day you will need the favour returned from your own children.

A touching story about your sister. I lost my garndfatehr recently and my mom was there for him nearly 24 hours a day for the last month of his life and it nearly killed her she was that exchausted but she would have carried on for another month if she’d had to. I know he would have been so proud of her!

Taking care of our parents is our duty. They spent their whole lives taking care of us. Now is the time to show our appreciation. Take advantage of all the resources available from home health care services. They will give you peace of mind and releive some stress. Don’t forget to ask family and friends for some of their time. The best caregiver is one who is rested and patient. You are allowed to rest once and a while.

I don’t think it’s difficult to decide about caring for the parents, there’s nothing else to do but to return the favor, they have taken care of us, so we should take care of them when they’re old. I hate guys sending their oldies to home for the ages.

It’s difficult to make those decisions about what the family is going to do about the care of their parents at the end of their lives. I was the lead in my family, and the challenges were many.
